Hi
Overall our stay at the apartment in the 21
- Downtown Residence was a very pleasant one. A few comments / recommendations:
- Our Garage remote control had a flat battery. I would recommend checking them before issuing to new renters.
- Internet access. I know that internet access is available at an extra cost option, I think the access should be included in the rental price.
- The Cleaning service was efficient and did a good job
Other than that I enjoyed our stay and would recommend renting an apartment instead of staying in a Hotel to anyone that asks.
Best regards,
Francois Barnard

: We stayed in Toronto for two weeks in July 2006. Our apartment was on Bay street in a 21
- Downtown Residence It was a one bed apartment We were really pleased with the apartment in general, but as there was three of us we had to use the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. It was clean, and there was plenty of warm water and a fully functioning kitchen. It is ideally located
downtown and just two blocks north of the Eaton centre and 2 mins walk to subway. The management of the building were extremely helpful. I would recommend this.
I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The apartment 21

very good standard as was your internet booking system. We
will use your company again and certainly recommend you too

Good location 20 Theatre District Residence, and we were impressed
with the cleanliness and appearance of the reception area
and elevators at all times. The apartment itself was
clean, comfortable and well maintained offering ample space
for a family of three adults and a teenager. We tend
to choose self-catering accommodation for our holidays as it
means we can choose to eat in or out as we please and this
is where our negative comes in. Although the kitchen
was very well equipped with the larger items e.g.
washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. it was
lacking with the smaller items which we all take for granted
when preparing a meal - insufficient pots, no chopping board
or colander, no proper grill tray or oven glove and the
larger knives weren't too great. These would just have
been the finishing touches to an otherwise super
apartment. The apartment was cleaned and beds changed
twice during our two week stay and that was a huge bonus. We
all enjoyed our first trip to Toronto and would not
hesitate to recommend it. We would also give strong
consideration to using your company for another
trip.

The website is Very clear and detailed...layout is ok
I hope you would expand in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Mexico
City and Rio de Janeiro...where a professional service like
yours would fill a gap
I stayed at 19 Yonge and Church Apts
property in Toronto, apt. 607 and I loved the
apartment, its level of comfort and incredible
location. I now intend to explore several European cities
with your apartments as a base!

Hello, I would like to let you know that
I was very pleasantly impressed with our accommodation
19
Yonge and Church Apts during our stay in
Toronto. I found the apartment spacious, bright, well
furnished, clean and quiet. The location was very central,
as described on your website -- we had everything we needed
within 5 minutes walk. The staff was helpful and the
check-in/out process was very much a painless affair. Considering the quality of
your service in Toronto I will definitely keep you
in mind when time comes to book accommodation in
another city in the future. Many thanks for making our stay
enjoyable. Best regards, Melanie Dillon

We had a
great time in Toronto, and it was nice to be in an apartment
instead of a hotel room. 19 Yonge and Church
AptsApartments were in a great
location, just a few blocks from the subway, and right
around the corner from two wonderfully fun, hopping
neighbourhoods. With an internet cafe and great shops
right on the same street, it was a wonderful
experience. My only
suggestion is that the kitchen might have a few extras, such
as tin foil wrap and can opener. There were two pots,
a frying pan and utensils, so the basics were there, but the
couple of extra items, like tin foil and a can opener, would
have been very helpful. We're guessing that perhaps
guests sometimes pocket those types of items and that's why
they may be missing from some units. However, what was
there was outstanding. There was a strainer, toaster,
and baking dish, a great carving knife, so we had to reach
to think of any way to improve what we got for the
money. And in every way, the Apartments beat the heck
out of a hotel. Finally, I have to say that the management staff were
outstanding. The building superintendent was very
visible around the property -- we ran into him in the
laundry room, lobby, front drive -- Carlos was always busy,
and always very friendly. The office management was
likewise friendly and helpful, even helping us out with
change for the laundry machines downstairs. We were
quite taken with the people there.
I
discovered quite by accident, though, that the office
management staff often do not receive our contact
information from apartments2book. I mentioned to the
office staff that if they needed to reach me, not to call
the phone in the apartment, but to call my cell phone.
They said they didn't get that number from the
booking. When I'm relying on these people as my direct
support during my stay, I'd like them to have all my contact
info -- it's far more important to me that they have it than
apartments2book. So I suggest that the booking agency
make it a priority to get our contact info to the on-site
support staff. They are far more likely to need my
contact info during and after my stay than the booking
co.
Thank
you for asking for feedback. Sorry this rambles a bit,
but that's for my lacking the time to edit it
properly. Feel free to contact me again if you have
any questions.

We had a really great time
in Toronto. The two bed apartment which you booked for
us at 19Yonge and Church Apts
was really
lovely and very central. We were surprised by the
spaciousness of the apartment and it was spotless. The
toilet was leaking when we arrived which was on good Friday
and when we contacted the caretaker the problem was looked
after immediately. All staff were very professional and
helpful and I will be recommending these apartments to any
of my friends
going to Toronto and hope to use your services
in the future.

well-situated, quiet and nice to stay. Some problems
occurred with the wireless connection which I wasn't quite
satisfied. I give 9- of 10 points.

Hi Martyn
The apartment is lovely. 18 - The Toronto
Collection Very warm and cosy.
The location is excellent as it's located in the middle of
the city centre with easy access to the underground rail
system. My stay in the apartment was in winter. As there's a
bookstore, grocery store and movie theatre on the concourse
attached to the building, it was nice moving around without
the winter gear.
I'd like to thank the staff at apartments2book for their
assistance during the entire reservation process. I was
grateful for the prompt service as
I unfortunately waited until the last minute to book.
I only have 2 negative comments. The springs in the living
room sofa are tired. It would not hurt to have it repaired
or replaced. The bed is a bit
sunken in the middle and will soon need to be changed.

Canada is a nice place to stay at while in Canada, not
only because it is a very clean and nice apartment
with kind and friendly staff but it has a convenient
location which gives you easy access to places to see
in Toronto, we booked 2 units with my in-laws and my
brother in law commented that he will definitely stay again
when he come back to Canada

Hello,
We had a great time in the19 Yonge and Church
Apts. The building was
well maintained, clean and secure. The reception staff
were helpful and we had no problems checking in on a
Saturday evening. We were very pleased with the size
of the bed-sit flat – it had room for a sofa, dining
area and a balcony. The location was great for us
– close to the subway and local food shops.
Checkout was straightforward too. All in all, we were really
impressed, and would definitely use your services again in
the future!
The only comment I would make is that maybe a ‘welcome
pack’ would be useful – so that an essential cup
of tea could be made without having to wander jetlagged
around the shops!
Thanks

I have been very pleased with my
accommodations at 19 Yonge and Church
Apts. I
would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a
furnished suite. The property is well located and the
staff have been attentive and helpful. I have been
extremely comfortable there.

I was thoroughly impressed and
pleased with the ease of booking through your website as well
as the check-in on arrival in Toronto. The staff were
most accommodating, helpful and friendly. The accommodation
at 20 Theatre District Residence was clean,
comfortable and the location for downtown Toronto was superb
- waking up every morning with views of CN Tower, Skydome and
Lake Ontario beyond set the mood for an enjoyable day -
albeit February in sub zero temperatures! My only tiny
disappointment was that there was no tea pot or cork
screw for the wine! (the concierge helped here). Otherwise an
excellent location and facilities. I am planning on being in
New York with my family for four days in August this
year and due to the quality of your service, I
am planning on booking accommodation through your
company once again.

I stayed at the 9 Eaton Apartment Residence. Toronto,
which was very enjoyable. The location is very good,
with a splendid view of downtown Toronto from the
roof. Accommodation was very comfortable. The
facilities, which I made good use of, were excellent
and the staff pleasant. Their rate was also very
reasonable, and I highly recommend it. My only
complaint is that there weren't enough kitchen utensils.

Hello,
My family and I had a wonderful time in Toronto and we
really enjoyed our stay at 6 - Harbour Front Residence Your apartments were neat and your
staff very courteous. I think it is great discovery for us
and we look forward to using your apartments in other
cities.

Dear Martyn.
I
am happy to give you feedback on our stay at
the 1 Bay Street Apartments.
On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded which we
thought was very nice.
When we were taken to our apartment we saw that we had 2
double rooms and not a double and a twin as I had
reserved.
When I went down to reception I was told that the apartment
I had booked was not available and that the Hotel could not
guarantee any specific apartment even though I had the email
confirmation from you which I showed to the Reception
manager.
After a lot of negotiation on my part the hotel agreed to
bring up a complimentary cot (camp bed) for the night and
replace the double bed and the cot with 2 single beds the
following morning. This they did at midday. Prior to the
beds being changed on the Friday morning I called your
office and left a message asking you to call me. You did not
return my call.
When our bill came after 10 days the
“complimentary” cot had been charged for but on
being reminded that it was complimentary, they then took it
off the bill.
We found out after several days that we were not on the
floors called “Residence” at all but were on the
floor below and were part of the hotel itself. This meant
that we had indeed been upgraded and had full maid service
every day where she even emptied the dishwasher for us,
clean linen and towels every day and a newspaper.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider staying
there again.
I can’t tell you what the “Residence”
apartments were like as we didn’t stay in one but the
laundry room was made available to us and the daily maid
service really added to our feeling we were on holiday and
was a real plus.
Parking at the hotel was good and easily accessible.
Yours sincerely,
Julia Curitz

Hello Martyn
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Toronto
at 20 Theatre District Residence
. The property was ideally located with
all the necessary amenities one needs when travelling.
My only constructive feedback was that the walls of the
apartment were badly marked in places (where suitcases and
the like have knocked the walls).

September 2005
We recently stayed at
20 Theatre District Residence . The
Apartment was in a residential apartment block 2 minutes
walk from the CN Tower and Skydome. There were loads of
wonderful restaurants just round the block. We could not
have asked for a better position. Although a car
parking space was provided a car is really not required in
this apartment block and Taxis were always available
.Although the apartment was not spotless it was a great size
with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first
evening it did seem very noisy due to the entertainment area
it was in but we soon got use to it and now home seems so
quiet. Considering we were in the centre of a large City we
felt really safe at all times.
As no staff from the company work in the building you have
to use the free telephone to ask any questions but this was
more than adequate and the service we received to book a
people carrier back to the airport (due to all our
purchases) was really good.
One week in Toronto was not long enough and we are now
saving for a longer trip in 2007.
We would not consider staying anywhere else other than in
this apartment block and would not hesitate to recommend
apartments2book.
September 2005
Apartment was OK 4 Bloor West Apartments Suites
.
We asked for a two bed apartment but they only had 2 one bed
apartments, though they were adjacent so that was not to
much of an issue. Rooms were clean and well serviced though
kitchen equipment was poor. With two rooms we had two
kitchens, between them one oven, one microwave did not work.
We chose not to raise it again since we had the other
kitchen to use, though it was inconvenient at times. Also
one of the fridge kept turning off. So all in all our
summary is good though kitchen equipment in general needed
attention. Pool was very good. Ian Hunt
June 2005
There was no grill pan provided, which made it
impossible to cook any meat. We had to go out and
purchase a frying pan as we like to
cook rather than go out every night to eat.
:Our apartment in Toronto 20 Theatre District Residence was
very spacious and clean. It was well furnished and
fitted out to a high standard. The location was excellent.
Lots of restaurants nearby and the CN Tower only a five
minute walk away. We would definitely recommend it to anyone
looking for a home away from home.

Dear Martyn Lawson
Thanks for your mail. On the whole, we were delighted
with the accommodation provided by your company.
20 Theatre District Residence is ideally
placed to see downtown Toronto at any time of day or night.
We felt very well looked after and everyone from the
concierges to the maids, were helpful and friendly. The
building too has excellent facilities with the roof terrace
and gym and the atmosphere was great: living amongst locals
really made us feel a part of the city.
A couple of things would have made the experience
completely perfect:
1) the apartment was rented to 5 people but towels
were provided for only 4 people.
2) it would be good to supply some basic cleaning
products e.g. dishwasher and washing up liquid, cloths, and
detergent.
We will certainly use your company again next time we are
looking for accommodation abroad!
With best wishes

We recently stayed at 1 Bay Street Apartments. It was larger
than expected, very clean and in good repair. As it is the
on the upper floors of the Hotel, all of the hotel
services are available, including shoe shining. It was an
incredible value for a large two bedroom apartment in the
centre of Toronto. The reservations staff was very
accommodating and worked hard to find the apartment that
suited out needs.
Highly recommended.
