I was extremely comfortable at the 17 Apartments Mayor Centro during my week's stay. It was a perfect location for exploring Madrid - the apartment was spacious and well equipped. If you're looking for improvements, I would suggest a better wireless router - reception on the fifth floor was patchy and very slow when it did work - and perhaps one English language channel on the television. But overall I was very pleased with the accommodation.

Apartment Location
Superbly positioned in a quiet narrow street between some of Madrid's most famous landmark's - The Palacio Real and The Retiro Park, and just a few steps from the historical Puerta del Sol and the bustling Plaza Mayor in the heart of Madrid's tourist and commercial district, amidst its theatres and lots of nightlife, restaurants, tapas bars and the wonderful shopping at Cortes Ingles.
Many of Madrid's best museums are also within easy walking distance including The Prada, together with the wonderful fashionable shopping at Gran Via.

Just a short walk to the Metro Sol.
