Superbly located in a wonderful neighbourhood full of
historical character within a lovely ancient district of
central Brussels amidst lots of unique charm, old alleyways
and cobbled streets.
The historical 15th Century Grand Place is on the doorstep
which is the tourist hub of the city with its stunning
market square including many spectacular listed buildings,
together with the village area of Sainte Catherine with its
famous fish market.
Between April and September the Grand Place square is illuminated at night to the rhythm of classical music - not to be missed
You will also discover the well known Manneken-Pis Statue
together with the 19th Century Galleries Saint-Herbert which
is a wonderful glass roofed shopping arcade, the large open
spaces of the Parc de Brussels and many interesting
museums and art galleries.
Lots of local shops, together with some of Brussels best
restaurants, pavement cafes and bistros are in the
neighbourhood including many old traditional bars serving
some of Brussels best local beers.
